Marinalife recently introduced a new iPhone application giving cruisers, marine enthusiasts and others instant access to up-to-date listings for marinas and services and links to the company's online reservation service.

The app was introduced just before the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and Marinalife has seen thousands of downloads already, the company said.

The Marinalife app is a free download built by the company's partner EarthNC and it provides iPhone Marine Charts and iPad Marine Charts as one universal app.

"The app has generated immediate positive response from the industry and from consumers. We are a Web-based company, so taking advantage of the most current technology is critical to having a great product, as well as great customer service," CEO Joy McPeters said.
