Marinalife honors top U.S. marinas

Marinalife announced the winners of its sixth annual Best Marina Contest.

Marinalife announced the winners of its sixth annual Best Marina Contest, naming River Dunes in Oriental, N.C., best large marina and South Jersey Marina in Cape May, N.J., best small marina.

Placing second for best large marina, which includes marinas with more than 100 slips, was Southport Marina in Southport, N.C., and in third place was Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, N.H.

Ranking second for best small marina was Harbour Town Yacht Basin in Hilton Head, S.C., and in third place was Key West Harbour in Key West, Fla.

Marinalife designates the winning marinas based on member and boater votes.

“We couldn’t be prouder of winning Best Small Marina,” South Jersey Marina owner Rick Weber said in a statement. “A big thank you to all of our guests who voted for us and all of our staff who earned those votes. We’ve been a Marinalife partner since the very beginning in 2000, and this really encourages us to keep improving our boutique concept and our concierge services.”
