MarineMax promoted Collin Heimensen to general manager of MarineMax Clearwater (Fla.).

Heimensen joined MarineMax in 2007 and has been the Clearwater sales manager for the past four years.

“No one embodies the passion for our lifestyle more than Collin,” MarineMax regional president Kyle Langbehn said. “His understanding of our why and strong ties to the Tampa Bay market made him a natural selection.”

Prior to starting in Clearwater, Heimensen held similar positions at the MarineMax Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., store and at Mau Marine in Okoboji, Iowa. He has worked closely with Sea Ray and with Boston Whaler for more than 20 years.

Heimensen attended the University of South Dakota, has been married to wife Abbey for nine years, and enjoys spending time on the water with friends and family.
