MarineMax hires marketing firm

MarineMax named The Avala Marketing Group of St. Louis as its official agency of record. It will be responsible for creative development of advertising and collateral, digital strategy and solutions as well as prospect communications and dealer support programs.

"We've worked with Avala for several years on a wide variety of projects, and the results have always exceeded our expectations," said Bill McGill, CEO, chairman and president of MarineMax, in a statement.

"What sets Avala apart is not only the depth of its marine industry knowledge, which is unsurpassed, but also its strong focus on full-service marketing, from research and analysis to lead management to the latest interactive capabilities," he added.

Avala recently helped MarineMax win a 2009 North American Marine Industry Web Award for its dealer/brokerage Web site.
