MarineMax names Chief Digital Officer

MarineMax said in a statement that Shawn Berg, vice president of information technology has been promoted to Chief Digital Officer. Berg joined the company in 2017.

“Shawn’s extensive experience in the technology field has been instrumental in driving our ongoing digital transformation,” said Brett McGill, MarineMax CEO, in the statement. “Shawn is also a key member of our Executive Strategy Team where he continues to bring innovative ideas to help grow our company overall.”

McGill said Berg has been “influential in enhancing and improving the company’s digital footprint.”

Berg previously worked for JM Family Enterprises for 24 years, a multi-billion-dollar company focused on the automotive industry.

“Our teams leading technology and marketing at MarineMax are impressive,” said Berg in the statement. “I’m honored to be a part of an organization that is continually looking toward the future and creating exceptional customer experiences. We will continue extending our capabilities to connect with customers in new ways and provide excellent service across all engagements.”
