MarineMax Vacations said it is expanding its power catamaran charter operation to the Bahamas. The base of operations is the Abaco Beach Resort.

“We are proud to be working with this iconic resort to bring catamaran charters to a new audience while opening up the opportunity to have a change of scenery for those that know MarineMax Vacations,” said Raul Bermudez, MarineMax charter division vice president, in a statement.

MarineMax Vacations at Abaco Beach Resort is located within the marina at Marsh Harbour, where guests can use such amenities as swimming pools, a restaurant, a boutique, fuel, showers, and laundry.

“MarineMax Vacations will make a wonderful addition to our current amenities. Their premium offerings are exactly what our guests look for during their time here in the Bahamas,” said Brent Ingraham, Abaco Beach Resort sales and marketing director.
