MarineMax Vacations named Clarence Malone as director of operations of the company’s charter base in BVI.

MarineMax Vacations named Clarence Malone as director of operations of the company’s charter base in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

"We are excited to have Clarence join our MarineMax Vacations team in the British Virgin Islands, where he will oversee all aspects of charter operations at our Tortola base,” MarineMax Vacations vice president Raul Bermudez said in a statement. “His extensive experience in charter operations, yacht maintenance and guest service, combined with his strong management skills, will further strengthen our Tortola base team.”

MarineMax said Malone has more than 39 years of experience in the charter industry, encompassing all aspects of the business, from yacht maintenance and charter delivery to base operations and management.

“Bringing Clarence to the team, with his all-encompassing experience, fulfills a significant role for the charter division’s growth and expansion plans,” said Dave Bigge, regional president of MarineMax. “He is great asset to our existing team of charter industry veterans and we are fortunate to have him join us. We have formed the best team in the British Virgin Islands.”
