Boyd Tomkies, owner of Annapolis Inflatables, purchased The Marina, formerly Mark's Marina, on the South River in Maryland.

Tomkies said he is making “immediate and significant improvements,” including new and improved docks, electrical service, landscaping and parking.

“For boat owners that live in Washington, D.C., Baltimore and cities in between, The Marina is quick and easy to reach by car — just minutes from the junction of Highway 50 and Route 97,” he added.

The Marina offers 36 deep-water slips for rent.

Annapolis Inflatables is a full-service inflatable boat shop in Annapolis, Md. The company is the region’s Zodiac Recreational and Zodiac Mil-Pro dealer. It also manufactures and sells Kiwi, its own brand of inflatable boats.
