Mass. marina celebrates re-opening

To celebrate its recent re-opening under new management, the Seaport Inn and Marina in Fairhaven, Mass., will host a boat show party this weekend.

Boat race crews will bring their boats, trailers, big trucks, motor homes, cars and gadgets to the Seaport Inn & Marina Boat Show. Local and regional dealers are encouraged to display their boats, engines and accessories.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be informal 50-mile "runs-around-the-bay." The runs will be followed by a party at the Tiki Bar with food and live music.

The Seaport Inn and Marina offers 86 hotel rooms, a 700-person capacity banquet hall, bars and more than 100 boat slips.
