MJM brand to be carried by MarineMax

MarineMax MJMYachtsStory

MarineMax has been appointed the MJM Yachts dealer for parts of Florida. The territories will extend along the Gulf Coast north to the Panhandle and also the Atlantic side from Palm Beach to Indian River County. The MarineMax stores selling MJM include Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Venice, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Stuart and North Palm Beach.

“We are pleased to add MarineMax to MJM’s national network of sales and service professionals,” said Bob Johnstone, CEO and founder of MJM in a statement. “They do an exceptional job of supporting owner activities.”

MJM were the first boatbuilders to build outboard express cruisers with a Downeast style. The boats are designed by Doug Zurn. Many include side-docking doors, joystick steering and other amenities. They are built by Boston Boatworks.

The Johnstone family, including Bob’s wife Mary and son Peter, once owned the sailboat brands, J/Boats and Gunboat.
