Porto Montenegro received the Wild Beauty Award 2013 for Best Tourism Investment Project during an award ceremony organized by Montenegro’s National Tourism Organization.

The group gave 23 awards in various categories for contributions to the tourism industry at a ceremony supported by Montenegro president Filip Vujanovic.

Adriatic Marinas legal director Savo Djurovic said during his acceptance speech that although the recession has been prominent in the country during the last year, Porto Montenegro has continued to support the country’s position as a tourism and yachting destination.

More than 700 staff members and 180 million euros have been dedicated to the project.

The award was created in 2005 by the Council for Tourism in Montenegro.

The ceremony was held at the Hotel Splendid Conference and Spa Resort in Becici.
