MyTaskit, which provides an online task-sharing and service coordination platform, said 11 new boating businesses signed up for MyTaskit Pro.

The businesses, which specialize in boat and yacht repairs, marina services and boat sales across the United States and Canada, will use the solution for online task coordination with their customers and to automate and optimize operational tasks.

Separately, five MyTaskit Pro users are converting to the MyTaskit Pro Cloud solution.

The 11 new clients collectively do business with more than 5,000 boat owners and will be able to use MyTaskit Pro to communicate directly with those customers online, according to the company.

MyTaskit enables the consumer and services worlds to efficiently and proactively initiate, track and transact business online through collaborative task sharing,” MyTaskit founder and CEO Kevin Hutchinson said in a statement.

“Boating businesses have embraced MyTaskit because it is the only online tool in the marketplace that can help them effectively communicate with customers online and also handle all the internal operational tasks necessary to operate their businesses. When customers have a service issue, they can simply ‘Taskit’ to their service pros. Service managers can also ‘Taskit’ to field technicians or even subcontractors for complete coordination of service.”

Boating businesses that have signed up for MyTaskit Pro’s service coordination functionality include Hurricane Cove Marina in Miami; RMK Merrill-Stevens in Miami; Blue Water Yacht Sales in Baltimore; Barnacle Bill’s Marine Supply in Delmont, N.J.; Glencove Marina in Lake Ozark, Mo.; SeaShine Boat Maintenance in Alameda, Calif.; Barrier Island Marine in Charleston, S.C.; Life Raft & Survival Equipment in Tiverton, R.I.; and Granville Island Boat Yard in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Business users can start using MyTaskit Pro for service coordination and profile management for a nominal subscription fee of $79 per user a month for service managers and $59 per user a month for field technicians. Discounts apply for businesses that require five or more licenses.
