MarineMax named Sam Lowrey vice president of real estate
Lowrey joined MarineMax more than 14 years ago after several years with BoatUS, where he oversaw its real estate operations, among other duties.
Lowrey oversees MarineMax’s real estate initiatives, including lease negotiations and structure, as well as real estate purchasing strategies. Most recently he led the efforts to acquire Bay Pointe Marina in the Boston area.
“This will be an exciting new challenge, and I look forward to expanding upon my past experience to move MarineMax forward,” Lowrey said in a statement.
In other news, MarineMax named Philip Davidson north central Florida operations manager. He will oversee sales growth and customer service at MarineMax Orlando, along with other stores and “future stores in this area,” according to the company.
“Over the years, I have learned so much from my previous experiences,” Davidson said in a statement. “I look forward to sharing this and continuing to learn from those around me.”
Davidson started his career in a large powersports dealership, working his way up from the parts department to to the role of general manager. He also worked for a major recreational products manufacturer in network distribution and development.
Siren Marine named Stephen Marshall to the newly established position of chief marketing officer
Marshall, who is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Media and Communications at East Tennessee State University, has years of digital marketing experience with such companies as Adobe, Nielsen Media Research and Coca Cola.
The customer experience will be Marshall’s focus.
