Prestige Yachts dealer Spring Brook Marina is opening its fifth Great Lakes location with a brokerage in Traverse City, Mich.

Spring Brook, which has represented the Prestige line in the Great Lakes region for three years, expanded its broker network to include Bill Allgaier of Harbor View Yacht Sales in Traverse City.

Allgaier has more than 25 years of industry experience as a broker and surveyor in the northern Michigan market.

“With the huge success of the Prestige Yachts line in the Great Lakes market, we felt the need for growth and see the northern Michigan market as being perfect for Prestige Yachts and Spring Brook Marina,” Spring Brook Marina president Jim Thorpe said in a statement.

“Bill will be a great fit to our team,” Thorpe said. “He already has had proven success in the area, and we are excited to have someone as qualified and knowledgeable about boats as Bill onboard our team.”

Spring Brook has been in business for 54 years and it also has three locations in Illinois and one in Eastlake, Ohio.

“Our goal is to be able to bring the Prestige Yachts line to all of the Great Lakes market through strategic brokers and service partners,” Thorpe said. “We are a service company first and that has been the key to our success and longevity.”
