The remodeling of the Des Moines Marina on Puget Sound in Des Moines, Wash., could be finished a few months ahead of schedule.

According to the Highline Times newspaper, the original completion date was set for early 2011, but despite some setbacks last fall developers are looking to complete the $5.4 million refit by Thanksgiving.

The refit of the marina includes new bulkheads, a new boat lift and infrastructure replacements.
