Russo Marine’s new dealership in Danvers, Mass., opens today.

Russo Marine closed its Medford, Mass., location after operating in the city where the business was founded for 75 years.

“Over 30 of our team members have called this home for quite some time,” Russo Marine president and CEO Larry Russo Sr. said in a statement. “We have one veteran employee that was honored with a 30 year service award.”

The Russo Family also was given a key to the city by Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn.

“After a long year of planning, preparation and construction, we are excited to be opening our newest dealership in Danvers,” Russo said.

“We acquired a fully developed, 4-acre parcel and have completely renovated an existing 25,000-square-foot building and added another 6,400 square feet for service,” he said. “This new facility, located on highly traveled Route 128, is only 1 mile inland from the water, and will strategically place us in the middle of our North Shore customer base.”
