Safety Components announces personnel move

Safety Components said it has hired Erich Schwieterman to work in sales and marketing development.

The company said Schwieterman is responsible for sales and promotion of the company’s WeatherMAX and BreakWater X fabrics for the marine, RV, automotive and aviation markets. He will be based in Florida.

With 12 years of experience in outdoor fabrics, Schwieterman was most recently an outside sales representative for Gioia Sails South, where he worked with builders such as Mystic, Sea Hunt, Sino Eagle Group, Stamas and Tidewater.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Morehead State University.
