Sides seek compromise on Miami River development
Miami city officials and members of the marine industry are trying to reach a compromise on future Miami River development policy.
Some, including Miami mayor Tomas Regalado, have viewed the policy - shaped under several lawsuits - as increasingly giving riverfront residential projects preference over marine industry operations, according to Miami Today.
The parties will have to work out a compromise by mid-April, when the issue moves back to the city commission for a ruling.
