SkipperBud’s gets new deal with Florida marina

SkipperBud’s was awarded a five-year management contract, with a five-year renewal option, for the Halifax Harbor Marina in Daytona Beach, Fla.

SkipperBud’s, the marina management affiliate of Skipper Marine Development Inc., has managed the Halifax Harbor Marina for the last 10 years. The previous management contract expired earlier this year and, as required by law, the city issued a request for proposals. The selection committee chose SkipperBud’s.

“It’s truly been a wonderful experience working with our customers, city staff, and the many city employees that have pitched in to help keep Halifax Harbor Marina the gem of the city,” said Marc A. Phillips, general manager of Halifax Harbor Marina, in a statement.
