Snook Bight Marina under new ownership

Suntex Ventures, with its subsidiary Suntex Marinas, a Dallas-based marina operator, announced it acquired Snook Bight Marina, a full-service facility on Estero Island in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.

The marina includes 70 new floating docks for boats to 50 feet, indoor dry storage for 200 boats, a service center and marine store, rentals (boat, kayak, paddle board), and a fuel dock. It is also home to Bayfront Bistro restaurant and several charter boat operations.

“Snook Bight Marina is the perfect addition to Suntex’s portfolio of premier destination marinas, and we look forward to further enhancing the customer experience at Snook Bight Marina by updating and adding amenities to the property,” Suntex Marinas president Chris Petty said in a statement.

Larry Sincoskie will continue as general manager.
