Suntex Marina Investors LLC said it named Jeff Padilla general manager of Wolf Creek Marina on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky.

A lifelong resident of Russell County, Kentucky, where the lake is located, Padilla had been general manager of the Jamestown Resort and Marina.

Before that he spent 17 years in management with Fruit of the Loom and is a member of the Russell County Tourism Board and chairman of the Russell County Ethics Board.

“Not only does Jeff have decades of management experience, but he’s extremely familiar with the area and his local knowledge will be a benefit to his guests and staff,” Suntex vice president of operations Ron TenEyck said in a statement. “His experience and insight will allow him to relate to members and visiting guests in a positive manner. We welcome him as a productive part of the Suntex family.”

Wolf Creek Marina has 209 slips on Lake Cumberland. The property features a marine store, restaurant, bath houses, fuel pumps, pumpout facilities, water taxies and boat rentals.
