SureShade names top dealer for 2013


Retractable sunshade designer and manufacturer SureShade named DiMillo’s Yacht Sales in Portland, Maine, as its 2013 SureShade Dealer of the Year.

The SureShade Dealer Award and recognition program is designed to formally recognize top boat dealers for sales and service efforts.

Boat dealer performance is evaluated on the criteria of sales performance, installation expertise, customer service, co-marketing efforts and private boat owner feedback.

SureShade said DiMillo’s, a Back Cove Yachts and Sabre Yachts dealer and brokerage firm, demonstrated outstanding sales performance and installation expertise by successfully outfitting more than a dozen boats with automated sunshade systems for its clients in 2013.

In addition to championing new boat models offering SureShade as a factory-installed feature, DiMillo’s sold and installed shades on new models not yet offering factory installations as well as existing models as aftermarket upgrades.

DiMillo’s helped debut the Back Cove Downeast 37 with SureShade as a standard feature at an August 2013 “Lobsterpalooza” customer appreciation event.
