United Yacht Sales opens new office on Long Island

United Yacht Sales, a yacht brokerage firm, has added an office at Seaborn Marina in Bay Shore, N.Y. Sales professional Mordy Miltz will run the new facility.

The new office is in addition to the United Yacht Sales office at Jones Inlet Marina in Freeport, N.Y., and the 1000 Islands Division office at Bonnie Castle Marina in Alexandria Bay, N.Y.

“Seaborn Marina is a beautiful, full-service marina with 100 slips right on the South Shore of Long Island and we think Mordy and team will do really well servicing all of our boating clients in the area,” said Peter Schmidt, United founder and CEO, in a statement. “We have more than 25 offices now worldwide and over 150 brokers. Our goal is to continue growing United to give our brokerage clients access to an unprecedented network of buyers and sellers seen in the industry.”

Miltz is vice president of the Spencer Christopher division of United Yacht Sales. He has been in the industry since 2010 and is an avid canyon fisherman. He participates in several fishing tournaments including the Mid-Atlantic 500, the White Marlin Open, the Hamptons Invitational and Blue Water Movements. Miltz has additional offices in Long Island, N.Y., and in South Florida.

Seaborn Marina is a dealer for Mercury outboards, Volvo Penta engines and Seakeeper stabilizer systems.


Coach Marine Group adds manufacturing facility

Coach Marine Group, which builds Coach and Xcursion pontoon boats from 19 to 27 feet, is expanding into a second facility in Chanute, Kan., with production beginning later this summer. The company currently builds boats in Humboldt, Iowa.
