VIDEO: Fort Lauderdale broker tours Turkish boatyard

Fort Lauderdale-based 26 North Yachts is a boutique brokerage house specializing in motoryachts 70 to 140 feet.

Each year, co-founders Mike Carlson and Nicholas Scherb take their sales team to visit a major international shipyard to, as they say, “increase our boat building IQ.”

The team recently completed a tour of Bilgin Shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey, hot on the heels of the brokerage firm’s recent sale of a 117-foot Star Sapphire.

They brought along a video team that produced a documentary.
