West Marine 1Q results to be released Thursday

Retailer West Marine announced it will hold a webcast and conference call next week to discuss the company's first-quarter 2010 results.

Scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT Thursday, April 29, the announcement will include a discussion of the financial results, with earnings furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission under cover of Form 8-K prior to the call.

The live call will be webcast and available in real time at www.westmarine.com on the "Investor Relations" page. The earnings release will also be posted in the "Press Releases" section on the Investor Relations page. Allow extra time prior to the call to visit the site and download the streaming media software required to listen to the Internet broadcast.
