West Marine will hold the Pacific Paddle Games this weekend at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, Calif.
The West Marine Demo Zone is a major attraction at the Pacific Paddle Games and will feature the largest standup paddleboard demo area in the country.
Guests at the Demo Zone can enter to win a Surftech 10-foot Discovery standup paddleboard, Yeti Hopper and more. Visitors to the area also will walk away with West Marine signature lip balm and sunscreen.
The West Marine Tent, located on the beach by the race’s start line, allows visitors to relax in West Marine’s beanbag chairs, enjoy refreshments and snacks, check out gear from some of West Marine’s vendor partners, including SurfStow and Fusion and get autographs signed by some of paddling’s pros including:
- Gerry Lopez — Maui Jim Ambassador and SUP Surfer and shaper will be at the West Marine Tent 11 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
- Erika Benitez — Winner of the 2015 Pacific Paddle Games Junior Pro Division, ISA World Championship Qualifier 2016 Fiji for Team Mexico and SurfStow Ambassador will be at the tent Friday through Sunday, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
