West Marine is looking for marine-focused non-profits in the Miami area to participate in the Cruising for a Cause charity night the retailer will hold in conjunction with the grand opening of its Aventura, Fla., store.

Set against the backdrop of St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), the event will be held from 5-8 p.m. and take place inside the new store at 17641 Biscayne Blvd.

In keeping with its mission of supporting local non-profits across the country, West Marine said it is eager to work with Miami-area charities that serve the local boating, fishing, paddling, sailing and marine environmental communities for this event.

Purchasing a $10 ticket allows Cruising for a Cause attendees to enjoy food, beverages, live entertainment and several raffle giveaways.

West Marine said all of the proceeds collected from ticket and raffle sales for the event will be split among local participating non-profits.
