West Marine to open Seattle store

West Marine will open its largest store in the Pacific Northwest next month in downtown Seattle.

With 18,000 square feet of retail space, the Westlake location will offer the latest electronics with working displays and an expanded selection of electrical, maintenance, plumbing, sailboat hardware and technical apparel.

There will also be a full rigging shop in the store as well as a mobile rigging service for dockside visits to better serve customers.

West Marine opened its first store in the Seattle area in 1986 and now has 15 locations throughout Washington state.
