Windward Marina Group of St. Augustine, Fla., said it purchased Beach Marine in Jacksonville, Fla., for $25 million. The sale closed Jan. 17.

The property includes more than 140 acres, with 350 wet slips, storage, a bait shop, sales and service, and the Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill. It has been family-owned and operated for more than 30 years.

The Jax Daily Record said Windward Marina Group hasn’t announced its plans for the marina, other than saying it would expand the “Windward Lifestyle” to Jacksonville Beach and will “provide desirable amenities, catering to the community’s needs and enhancing our customer’s experiences on the waterfront.”

Founded by Stefan Johansson, Windward Marina Group is a development company that creates communities with a “lifestyle of sustainable waterfront experiences.”

Windward owns two properties in St. Augustine on opposite sides of the St. Sebastian River.
