1_GASPRICES

Gasoline prices in the United States continue to climb to new record highs.

The average national price is $4.432 per gallon of regular unleaded gas this morning, according to AAA’s daily survey. The price has climbed steadily this week, according to the survey. The week-ago average was $4.279 per gallon.

Historically, gasoline prices at the pump have been influential on the frequency of boat usage and consumers’ perception of their overall cost to go boating.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has sparked concerns that the global oil supply may tighten further. West Texas Intermediate crude was trading near the $108 per barrel mark this morning. Brent Crude was more than $109 per barrel.
