Republicans roll out tax reform plan
President Donald Trump, administration officials and Republican leaders in Congress outlined the changes on Wednesday that they want to see in the nation’s tax code.
Trump and a group known as the “Big Six” — Gary Cohn, director of the National Economic Council; Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin; Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell; Sen. Orrin Hatch, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee; House Speaker Paul Ryan; and Rep. Kevin Brady, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee — spent months developing the plan.
