Grow Boating offers webinars on search engine optimization for marine businesses

Publish date:

Grow Boating is offering a webinar series to help marine businesses with search engine optimization (SEO) plans. The organization said in today’s NMMA Currents that the free webinars are designed to identify marketing challenges, target customers, build a site that will “convert visitors into customers,” and implement and social and blogging strategies to “drive business.”

The first session, called “Spy on Yourself—Online Brand Reputation Made Easy,” takes place on April 3. It covers brand protection, how to learn what is being said about your business in social and search, emergency plans for your online presence and Google alerts.

The second session, “Spy on Your Prospects—Tools, Tips and Shortcuts to Tapping into the Mindset of Your Ideal Searcher,” takes place April 17. “Learn how to leverage suggestive search, see what Google bot thinks about your homepage, use to understand searchers and present yourself as a thought leader, not a sales person,” is the description.

The final session, “Spy on Your Competitors…In a Good Way,” takes place May 1. The session covers site ranking, how to dominate keyword searches, own the search result page and setting yourself apart from your competitors.

The webinars are presented by Heather Lutz, dean and founder of Findability University. Lutz founded the Findability Group in 2000 to help website owners connect businesses with their perfect customers online. She worked for Yahoo! Search Marketing, training advertisers in Paid Search techniques. She has been part of the leadership group with Tony Robbins Business Mastery in Fiji and London.
