A Hell of a Cause
Captains For Clean Water, the Florida-based advocacy group, partnered with Hell’s Bay Boatworks for a raffle that will fund its mission of addressing the Sunshine State’s water concerns.
The grand prize is a 17-foot skiff that’s the first model in a new HBxOrvis Edition lineup, which is a collaboration between Hell's Bay and Orvis.
“We're so grateful to our partners and the talented craftsmen at Hell's Bay Boatworks for generously donating this special, one-of-a-kind skiff,” CFCW program director Capt. Chris Wittman told Trade Only Today. “Not only will this help raise money to advance our mission, but we’ll be able to take policymakers on the water to experience impacted estuaries, such as the Everglades and Florida Bay, to gain a deeper understanding of what we’re fighting to protect.”
This is the second year that Titusville, Fla.-based Hell’s Bay Boatworks donated a boat to CFCW. Several partner brands also contributed to the boat. The skiff has a 60R Mercury Racing outboard, Raymarine electronics, a Power-Pole anchor, custom SeaDek floor kit, a Boatmaster trailer, and accessories from Traeger and Yeti.
Tickets are $50, and the drawing is scheduled for July 2021. Click here for more details.
