ABYC has openings for certification course

The American Boat & Yacht Council announced it has five seats remaining for its standards certification course.

The course runs from :30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 6-8 in King's Point, N.Y.

The three-day course provides students with a comprehensive look at key ABYC standards. Class discussions address specific compliance issues relevant to engineers, installers, compliance inspectors and marine surveyors. Common non-compliance areas and how to address these issues in both the factory and field environments will be discussed.

The course is followed by a 100-question exam for standards certification.
