ActiveCaptain debuts user review site

ActiveCaptain introduced a new review site called CaptainRated.com.

“After years of requests and e-mails, we put together a website that allows boating products and services to be researched and reviewed beyond the marinas, anchorages, local knowledge and hazards of ActiveCaptain,” the company said in a statement. “Want to find a surveyor in Georgia or a boat broker in Oregon? CaptainRated has the listings.”

The site is free use and is launching with three categories: boat brokers, surveyors and transport companies.

ActiveCaptain users are already members of CaptainRated, as the sites share an account database.
