ADP Lightspeed, a provider of dealer management systems, introduced its mobile version of Lightspeed CRM, powered by V-SEPT.

The new feature gives sales departments within dealerships the ability to access inventory, customer and sales-log information through mobile devices such as iPadTM, iPhone and AndroidTM phones, the company said.

"Salespeople at the dealership can't be tied to a desk," said Tony Hale, national sales manager at ADP Lightspeed, in a statement. "Most of the deals start on the lot or in the showroom and having to take a customer to your computer to look up information can be awkward and difficult. Mobile Lightspeed CRM puts all the tools and information the salesperson needs literally at their fingertips."
