After-school program introduces kids to sailing

SailLaser recently completed an Introduction to Sailing program for more than 100 kids through the Miami Parks & Recreation Department's after-school program.

"The children had an outstanding time on the sailing trips. We hope to continue our participation in the future," said Donald Lutton, superintendent of the department, in a statement.

SailLaser says this is one of the many ways the company is helping introduce the joys of sailing to South Florida. Other programs include summer sailing camps, adult and children's groups and private lessons, racing clinics and programs, corporate programs and special events.

SailLaser Centers were created by LaserPerformance, manufacturer of the Laser, Sunfish and 420 brands.
