AIM Marine Group Names New Publishers

The moves affect the company’s Power & Motoryacht, Anglers Journal, PassageMaker and Sail magazine titles.

Active Interest Media announced several personnel moves within its Marine Group.

Wade Luce was named group publisher of Power & Motoryacht and PassageMaker magazines, Eric Dallin was appointed publisher of Sail magazine, and Joe Illes was promoted to publisher of Anglers Journal.

(Power & Motoryacht, PassageMaker and Anglers Journal are sister magazines to Soundings Trade Only within the AIM Marine Group.)

“Wade has proven his ability to manage his titles effectively while also being a top producer on everything he touches,” Marine Group president Gary DeSanctis said. “This move has left an opportunity for Joe to step up into the position as the publisher of Anglers Journal. Joe is a consummate professional and loved by all of his customers.”

Eric Dallin, vice president of marketing innovation for the Marine Group, will take on an additional role as publisher of Sail.

“I’m excited to take on additional responsibilities with the Marine Group as the new publisher of Sail magazine,” Dallin said. “I look forward to the opportunity to help drive growth strategies for the magazine. It’s an honor to align with this amazing team of editors, production staff and brand reps that truly represent the best of the industry.”
