Pearson Marine Group, builder of the Alerion Express models, launched a new website to reflect changes in the company's offerings.

Most significant is a change from the familiar Alerion Express name to the more encompassing Alerion Yachts, the company said.

The new website focuses on the customer experience of choosing, building and owning an Alerion while featuring the brand’s three-model series: Alerion Express, Alerion Sport and the new Alerion series of cruising boats.

The Alerion 41 is the first model in the Alerion series of cruising boats.

“With an incredibly dedicated owner’s group for existing models, along with numerous boat orders for 2012, we’re excited about this new direction for Alerion. Our customers continue to find new appreciation for the unique experience of building and sailing an Alerion, and our team is honored and privileged to serve them,” vice president of sales and marketing Scott Bryant said in a statement.
