Discover Boating said in an online statement that it has reached important goals for targeting millennials and young families. The industry program started two “influencer” marketing programs earlier this summer. It has recruited more than 30 influencers to secure blog posts, social media shares and videos. Its second program has focused on partnerships with Instagram influencers like This Wild Idea, Travis Burke and Wit & Delight to capture “visually appealing content.”
The group said that midway through these campaigns, both programs have resulted in more than 30 blog posts, five influencer posts, 229K+ engagements (including both program’s social likes, comments & video views) and more than 16,000 visits to DiscoverBoating.com.
Beyond recent coverage like: The Simple Parent – “Discover Boating: 3 Easy Tips for Boating with Kids” (Pinterest Post) and Annie A to Z – “Discover Boating with Your Crew This Summer,” the Instagram influencer program has attracted images from boating locations like Lake Powell, Lake Tahoe and Lake Minnetonka.
Discover Boating said more influencer posts are scheduled through the summer.
