The American Boating Congress will host two Congressional Boating Caucus co-chairs as speakers at the general session.

Reps. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., and Candice Miller, R-Mich., will speak during the event, which takes place May 11-13 on Capitol Hill.

Murphy represents Florida's 18th Congressional District, which includes northern Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties. He is a strong supporter of Everglades restoration efforts, beach re-nourishment and inlet dredging.

Miller, who represents Michigan’s 10th district, is chairwoman of the Committee on House Administration and is the only female leader of a House committee. She has been an advocate in Congress for protecting the Great Lakes and promoting Michigan industry.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association will continue adding names to the roster of speakers for the annual event.
