The America's Cup trophy will be on display Oct. 8-9 at the United States Sailboat Show.

The trophy will be featured on VIP Preview Day (Oct. 8) and that evening with keynote speaker and America's Cup host Tucker Thompson at the Premier Launch Party, an annual networking event to celebrate opening day.

"We are thrilled to offer our guests the opportunity to see the America's Cup trophy as part of the festivities planned for the 2015 United States Sailboat Show," Annapolis Boat Shows president and general manager Paul Jacobs said in a statement.

"We hope to bring some of the excitement of the dramatic 34th America's Cup win to this year's sailboat show, as well as a look at the 35th Cup in Bermuda,” Jacobs said.

Show visitors also can see the trophy on Oct. 9 at the Annapolis Sailboat Show.
