AMI names new officers, directors

The Association of Marina Industries elected its 2009 officers and directors at the recent International Marina & Boatyard Conference.

Jim Frye, CMM, of Westrec Marinas, will serve his second term as president and chair of the AMI board. Chris McSparen, CMM, of Skipper Marine Development, was named vice-president; Mick Bettesworth, CMM, of Marina Developments LLC, was named secretary; and Marshall Nowlin, CMM, of Bayport Marina, was named treasurer.

The following new directors were voted to the AMI board: Keith Knowlton, CMM, of Carters Cove Marina; and Michelle Shrider, CMM, of Washburn Marina.
