AMI To Host Clean Marina Course

The Association of Marina Industries will host a Clean and Resilient Marina Course during its 2023 Annual Conference.

The course will be held Jan. 29-30 as a lead-in to the Marina and Boatyard Tour that starts the conference, AMI said in a statement.

The course is the first step toward becoming a Clean and Resilient Marina Professional and provides access to AMI’s online Clean Marina Verification Program. The program allows marinas to self-certify as clean and resilient facilities and provides foundational knowledge for those seeking state-level certification.

The course covers such topics as marina siting and design, stormwater management, maintenance, facilities and habitat, and vessel maintenance and repair. The course is designed to start marinas on their way to certification.
