Tommy Solomon Yacht Repair & Restoration of Annapolis, Md., has launched a new company, Bow Thrusters of North America, to reflect its expanded offering of bow and stern thruster installation.

The new company offers a complete series of 12V/24V electric and hydraulic thrusters for any vessel. As a fiberglass expert, Solomon also matches chemical hull properties for compatibility when fiberglassing thruster tubes in the hull.

"We have all witnessed poor dock landing with the potential to damage considerably more than a fragile yachting ego," Solomon said in a statement. "Dependable, easily handled thrusters can avert any number of lurking disasters."
