Fire department investigators in Austin, Texas, say a Christmas Day boat fire on Lady Bird Lake was deliberately set.

Witnesses say they heard a loud explosion and saw smoke and flames rising from a 70-foot boat tied at a dock at about 2 p.m. Sunday near the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

While it was on fire, the double-decker party boat broke away from the dock and drifted downstream.
