Asia Boating Awards ceremony set for May

The sixth edition of the Asia Boating Awards will take place May 8 at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club in China.

The awards recognize the best yachts globally as well as top Asia-based yacht builders, regattas, marinas and yacht clubs; best maritime city in Asia; and top yachting personality. The last two editions have taken place in Shanghai, and the ceremony has also been staged in Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand.

New categories this year include best production multihull, best green company producing eco-friendly products, and best designer working in Asia. The event is organized by the Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines.
