Atlantic Marine Funds Next-Gen Techs

Atlantic Marine donated $26,500 to Cape Fear Community College Foundation in North Carolina to be used for scholarships in the Outboard Systems program.

Scholarships fund tuition, books and fees.

“By supporting this program, CFCC, in turn, is able to support our industry by training well-qualified technicians who are career-ready,” Atlantic Marine president David Floyd said in a statement.

The college relies on such partners as Atlantic Marine to provide experience and help bolster the number of workforce-ready employees applying to local businesses, said CFCC president David Floyd.

“Their ongoing support will benefit so many of our Outboard Systems students,” Floyd said. “We are grateful for this investment.”
