The Azimut 55S received the "Best boat under 20 meters" award at the 30th Palma Boat Show, which wrapped up May 5 in Palma de Mallorca.

Designed by Stefano Righini and Carlo Galeazzi, the 55S is the latest model in the sport collection of Azimut Yachts motoryachts. Azimut credited the boat’s success, in part, to the triple Volvo IPS-1 system with pod, which is unusual on motoryachts of this size, the builder said in a statement.

Azimut also touted the weight reduction and strength of the structure, made of glass-carbon composite; the layout, with three cabins for the owner and guests located amidships; a sliding hard top that can be completely opened; and the continuity between internal and external spaces.
