Azimut-Benetti forms distribution network

The first network contract was recently signed between Azimut-Benetti, the Italian yacht manufacturing and marina management group, and about 20 supply companies spanning the production chain — from layout to systems to furnishings — with the aim of creating an industrywide network.

The purpose of the new organizational model, Giovanni Vatteroni, Azimut-Benetti’s Livorno plant director and president of the newly formed network, told SuperYachtTimes.com, is multipronged. By joining forces, the network can deliver innovation and quality levels unattainable by each provider individually and maximize overall efficiencies.
